Circa Survive have been on the road the past few months, touring in support of their groundbreaking new album, Violent Waves, but they still somehow found the time to sit down for a PureVolume Session backstage at Club Nokia in LA. The band started things off with a stripped down version of first single "Sharp Practice," bringing a new dimension of raw, passionate emotion to the already jolting tune. From there, they launched right into a chilling rendition of newfound fan-favorite "Suitcase."

Between quiet harmonies, intricate guitar work, and frontman Anthony Green's haunting vocal parts, this acoustic rendition takes on an even moodier tone than the original, amping the song's heavy-hearted vibe and goosebump-inducing ability.
